The Item Manager allows users to manage all the items that make up a project.

 

 

The main features are:

  • Estimation of direct and indirect item costs;
  • Item costing can be done by up to six methods: Fixed, Detailed, Budget Bid, Bid, Partial bid and Imposed;
  • Copy items and their details within the project or from other projects;
  • Import and export an item list to and from a spreadsheet program;
  • Insert sub-totals and totals to view costs by section, phase or other;
  • Creation of summary items allowing the estimator to personalize the item cost structure;
  • Enter Bid and/or Estimated Quantities;
  • Definition of unit or lump sum costs;
  • Dynamic switching between metric and imperial systems of measurement;
  • Definition of multiple currencies by the user;
  • Manually enter quantities for each of the resources;
  • Possibility of using mathematical formulas to calculate resource quantities;
  • Possibility of using a digitizer table to calculate resource quantities;
  • Definition of the production rate according to a personalized schedule (ex.: hours and days) and a chosen measurement system (ex.: metric and imperial);
  • Registration of comments explaining or justifying estimation details;
  • Integrated digital pictures;
  • Distribution of item costs according to Equipment, Labour, Material, Miscellaneous, Bulk and Sub-contractor resource categories.
