LUQS was created in 1986 in Laval, Quebec, Canada with one idea in mind: using high technology in the field of construction. Given the number of intervention levels within this field of activity, LUQS focuses on what it considers to be the cornerstone of any successful project: Estimation.  Since the use of software for estimation purposes was neither recognized nor popular, the company was able to identify the great potential for improving estimation procedures and, consequently, ensuring successful bids. Since then, LUQS has been constantly perfecting estimation procedures not only to facilitate work that needs to be done, but also to increase the staff productivity.

LUQS works in cooperation with is clients. Whereas is clients are working in the field of civil, municipal, minning, petroleum engineering and building, LUQS improves its competencies by storing practical and theoretical knowledge.
